John, Janie and Patti, I know you are probably feeling both glad and sad at the same time. You know for certain your loved one is in heaven with her Savior but you are so very sad because you will miss her terribly. You were truly blessed to have her! She touched so many lives for Jesus. Only eternity will reveal all that were influenced by her Godly example, her teaching and her prayers. Love to each of you and your precious family.Gloria Hill
I have never known anyone who I would call a sage – except Aunt Mackie. She was truly wise in her advice to others; in her understanding of situations; and in her dealings with people. She lived a Godly life and showed God’s love and mercy to everyone she knew or met. She never forgot a name nor failed to pray for those she knew. She truly walked in the way of the Light and His light shown through her and all around her. She was smart, funny, caring and compassionate. She is leaving behind shoes that can never be filled. The tears we shed here on Earth are definitely for us because I can guarantee she is having the time of her life seeing family and friends who had gone on before and I can only imagine the joy on her face when she was able to rejoice with her Lord. I loved her very much and I will miss her dearly. ‘Til we meet again…“Well done, good and faithful servant…enter into the joy of your Lord.” Matthew 25: 23
I enjoyed going to church with Maxine and loved to hear her pray. After she moved away she still sent me cards and notes after hearing about deaths or sickness in our family. Great memories of her.
Maxine was a great lady. I enjoyed her teachings. She will be missed not only by her family but the rest of us who knew her. Prayers for the family.
