Dear Kind Michael, I met you at Tulsa Community College and was immediately blown away by how kind and patient you were as my teacher in Computer Science. In all my years, i had never known anyone as open and kind as you, unafraid to helping others in every imaginable way. I was fascinated by how you could be so great a Teacher ,and just as comparably great as a gentle soul. Always reaching out to help others or make them feel welcome that was you, Michael. One Day 6 weeks after your passing, i had the urge to google your name, why I do not know I had never done this before….and I came upon your Obituary–I began to cry and shuddered to think, what could have happened to my Favorite Teacher and Librarian to take you away from us. The cliche’ stating only the good die young, made perfect sense to me since losing you was definitely a huge loss for us all/mankind. It has been a few years ,and i still Google your name every so often to help me remember you at times when i could truly use a genuine friend. I miss you my favorite hello, kind colleague, and hopefully my friend. I have lost many family members and friends, but your loss causes me to shudder since i know how much our World needed more people like you and how few there truly are like you. God has recalled one of his great Angels home again. I hope to see you on the other side when my time is upon me, sweet friend.
