My love and sympathy are with those who will miss Peggy. One of my most vivid childhood memories happened in Chicago. Aunt Peggy, Uncle Lee, and all the cousins came to visit us. I was always impressed that she (and my cousin Paulette) had the same initial for our first names! We didnÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢t have frequent contact with family until after I was married, and when I thought of family, it was these people of whom I pictured. Peggy (and Paulette and her twins) were there when I got married forty years ago, and when we moved to Tulsa, Peggy was one of the wise women who helped me learn to be a good homemaker. To this day, every time I fold my sheets the way she taught me, I think of Peggy! I will miss her for many reasons, but I will smile and remember her when I fold my laundry, too.
