Nancy "Louise" Harn's Obituary
Nancy Louise Perry Harn entered this earth on Christmas Eve 1920 and left 12/6/2014 just days short of her 94th birthday. She was delivered by her father, Dr J T Perry in the front bedroom of the family home in Tulsa, then placed in a bassinet next to the Christmas tree as a present to her five big brothers who ranged in age from ten to twenty. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma where she was an active member in Alpha Chi Omega, married the love of her life, John Robert Harn, raised three kids, worked weekly with youth at Tulsa First Baptist Church, and taught junior high school math for over 25 years. She somehow found time for hospital volunteer work. Upon her husband’s death in 1995 Louise moved to San Antonio and joined Parkhills Baptist Church where she attended regularly until 13 days before her passing. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her parents, Dr J T Perry and Edith Louise McCullough Perry, five brothers Dr Dan (Madge) Perry, Dr Hugh (Lois) Perry, Ralph (Norma) Perry, Dr James (Christine) Perry, Dr Fred (Elizabeth) Perry. She is survived by two daughters: Kathryn Louise Harn of DeLand FL and Nancy Lois Harn (Richard) Moser of San Antonio, son William Robert (Susan) Harn of Broken Arrow, six grandchildren: Hilary (Jeremy) Smithee of Broken Arrow OK, William Robert Jr (Bethel) Harn of Broken Arrow OK, John McCullough (Trinidy) Harn of Broken Arrow OK, Kathryn (Zachary) Parrish of Puyallup WA, Jason Catts of St Augustine FL, Adriane (Roddy) Matthews of Crown Point IN and 16 great grandchildren.Services celebrating her life will be held Thursday Dec 11 at 1:00 P.M at Parkhills Baptist Church in San Antonio and Wednesday Dec 17, 2014 at 12:30 P.M. @ Floral Haven Chapel in Broken Arrow OK.In Lieu of flowers please make Gift of Love contributions to Parkhills Baptist Church, San Antonio TX in her name.
