Neil Alan Smith's Obituary
Neil Alan Smith born August 2, 1953 in Tulsa, OK passed away February 1, 2018 at 65 years of age. He attended school in Tulsa at Franklin Elementary, Wilson Jr High and Will Rogers’s class of ’71.After a courageous and hard battle with cancer he passed away peacefully in his home. He was one of four children born to the late Leon and Esther Smith. He will be forever remembered by loving siblings; Sister Brenda (Tom) Taylor, Vicki (Johnny) Isaacs and Brother Paul (Roberta) Smith. Six nieces and nephews. Also six great nieces and nephews. Along with countless friends and family who were blessed to know him.Neil was an accomplished commercial artist. He inherited a love of gardening, nature and scouting from his dad.He developed an interest in skydiving after service in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger. Also enjoyed making jewelry and cheering on Lowe’s #48 Jimmy Johnson in NASCAR. Neil touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. He maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend his service on Monday, February 5th at 10:00 AM, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow.
