Joyce Blair's Obituary
Oleta Joyce Blair, 83, of Tulsa, passed away January 1st, 2022 with family by her side. She was born April 29th, 1938 in Morris, OK. to Cecil and Nora Collins. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents: Robert Cecil Collins and Nora Marie (Carter) Collins, 4 brothers: James, Raymond, Paul and Glenn (Buddy) Collins, sister: Erma (Collins) Brumley. Joyce is survived by brother: Cecil (Buttons) Collins and wife Marlene of Muskogee, OK, sister: Barbara (Collins) Strong of Michigan, 5 children: Billie Lunsford and husband Charlie of Tulsa, Delores Barnett of Tulsa, Allen Bowman and wife Brenda of Bixby, Rhonda Evans and husband Ron of Tulsa, and Roger Bowman and wife Ruth of Tulsa, 3 step children: Bill Blair (Deceased), Brenda (Blair) Bosse of Tulsa, David Blair of Tulsa, 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Joyce worked as a waitress until 1976 at which time she went to work at Ford Glass Plant. Some of the work she did was working the overhead crane, glass packer, running the fork lift, working on the hot end and shipping and receiving. She retired after 20 years at the end of 1996.
Joyce enjoyed many things, reading, being outside, puzzles, crocheting, playing cards, bowling, playing bingo, casino, traveling, seeing new places, seeing the changing of the seasons, and spending time with her family, relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm, Monday, January 10, 2022, at Floral Haven Chapel, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
