My sincerest condolences; I just came across this obituary and just broke my heart to hear she has passed. I worked with Opal back when I was in high school at Furr’s cafeteria! So many years ago, time sure does fly by. Wow so many memories flooded my head. She was such a sweet lady, but she did have a strong and stern personality, there were alot of us high schoolers there and she didn’t put up with to much of our shinanagins 😘 God bless the family.
My Aunt Opal was like no other. Interesting and fun to visit. She will be missed by not only myself but many friends and relatives. I love you Aunt Opal

My husband and I spent lots of evenings planing games and card with her and her card playing women friends who they nick-names him rooster playing games with all the old hens!! You will be missed by everyone you touches the lives of. Rest in Peace my precious Aunt.
