Orval was a sweet, kind man who loved to visit. We lived next door to the Meyers on 85th East Avenue from 1980-1995. We couldn’t have asked for better neighbors. After we moved to Mexico, Missouri, they came by to visit us on one of their trips back to Iowa. My son, Jason Carrison, saw the obituary in the Tulsa World–we had no idea that Orval had passed and then to read that Viola had also passed on July 2. They were wonderful people and you children have a precious legacy passed on to you.
