I was lucky enough to spend much of my childhood with Papa. He would walk me to and from school, dance with me (with his signature boxing moves), and would capture random animals as pets for me (which my parents would release into the wild, of course). He also visited long term often throughout my adult life. He was at my wedding, which is so very special to me. I’ll miss his laugh and his stories. Grateful he is no longer uncomfortable & that he is reunited with my Lola. He waited over a decade to be with her again, I’m sure they’re enjoying some laughs together!
