Pablo Cahalco's Obituary
Pablo Cahalco, beloved father and grandfather, was called to Heaven on December 1, 2021 at the age of 95. He was a kind, hardworking man and was loved by everyone who knew him.
Pablo was born January 10, 1928 to Juan and Simplicia Palconit Cahalco in Tacloban City, Philippines. He and his wife Lilia married in 1951 and raised five children together. He devoted his entire life to providing for his family. He moved from the Philippines with Lilia in 1990. Together, they spent time with their family in New Jersey, then Florida, and eventually settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He enjoyed watching boxing and spending time with his family.
He and Lilia spent over a decade living in Florida with his daughter Helen, husband Scott and three grandchildren. He was always the light of the party, telling stories of his life in the Philippines. He will be dearly missed by his family and their friends. After his wife passed, he continued to spend time with his family and spent the last several years traveling between Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina and Mississippi.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his devoted wife of over 50 years, Lilia. He is survived by his daughter Delia and fiancé Charles of Mississippi; his son Lito of Oklahoma: his daughter Evelyn and husband Bill of Texas; his son Jimmy and wife Beth of North Carolina; his daughter Helen and husband Scott of Florida; his niece Linda and husband Ron of North Carolina; his beloved grandchildren Helen Marie and husband Frankie, Taylor, and Joseph of Florida; Marvin and wife Nikita of California; Lovely and husband and JC of North Carolina; several great-grandchildren, as well as many other cherished cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 13, 2021, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Suites in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A celebration of life service will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Floral Haven Chapel.
Burial will be in the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
