Patricia McIntyre's Obituary
Patricia Ann McIntyre, 80, of Broken Arrow, OK entered eternal life on February 19th, 2021. Her spirit is carried on by her husband of 33 years, Dan McIntyre, 3 of her children, 5 stepchildren, 22 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and an extended family of friends from every season of her life. She was born September 22, 1940 in Jackson, MS to Jack and Dollie Lane then moved to Tulsa, OK shortly after her birth. Pat graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1958 then attended the University of Tulsa.
Pat enjoyed staying home with her children and volunteering at school and with her children’s activities when they were young. She was a “favorite mom” amongst our friends. When she returned to working, she worked in accounting until she retired. After retiring, she did rejoin the work force working for the 2010 Census which was her favorite job.
Pat married, Dan, the love of her life on April 2, 1988 and blended two families into one. We were all witness to an amazing love story and were touched by Dan’s love songs but we will never know the circumstances of how they met. Pat was a planner and made sure to remember everyone’s special days and worked tirelessly to celebrate each of us. Pat spent countless hours enjoying her grandchildren’s many activities and planning trips to be able to watch a game or see an event.
Pat cherished her friends and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed entertaining planning every last detail of every event. She, also, enjoyed scrapbooking and playing bunco. Pat loved to travel and went on many trips; her favorites being New York, Hawaii and an Alaskan cruise.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Dollie Lane, brother, Glenn Lane, and daughter, Jeri Lynn Elliott. She is survived by daughters Teri Ford (David) and Jodi Govrik (John) of Tulsa, OK; son Steve Jenkins (Eunice) of Boca Raton, FL; stepdaughters Lori Frank (Barry) of Fort Myers Beach, FL and Kelly Harris (Todd) of Norman, OK; stepsons Shawn McIntyre (Margie) of Spavinaw, OK, Daniel McIntyre (Michel) of Phoenix, AZ and David McIntyre (Robin) of North Richland Hills, TX; grandchildren Kara Elliott, Kaitlin Draper (Nathan), Drew McIntyre, Justin Frank, Danielle Frank, Hallie Edwards (Chris), Zachary Harris, Ashtin Frank, Ashley McIntyre, Tyler Frank, Brandon McIntyre, Nathan Harris (Grace), Kassidy McIntyre, Davis Govrik, DJ McIntyre, Johnny Jenkins, Grant Govrik, Joey Jenkins, Jared Jenkins, and Kaleb Harris; great-grandchildren Aiden Frank, Levi Frank and Shelby Draper. A memorial service will be held at Floral Haven Chapel Friday, March 5th at 12:30 pm. Donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
