I worked with Perry Aanders and had such admiration for him and his wife. He totally amazed me. I would tease him and say “you’re peeking “ cause he always knew which way to go and where we were. I’d drive for him and Marilyn from time to time and loved them both so much. A miraculous individual with great knowledge.
All the wonderful times Perry and I had growing up in Olustee and Jackson County made many wonderful memories for me. Perry, I have many stories to tell about our childhoods and life in Oklahoma. I will miss you very much, especially listening to you analyzing problem situations and providing solutions. You certainly had sage advice and being a doctor of philosophy certainly was your calling. You know I greatly admired you and all of your wonderful accomplishments. You and Marilyn were wonderful together. Selfishly, I wish you were here, but I know you are in a better place with our Lord in Heaven. Rest in peace my friend. Charlie Prater
