Perry Ayden Wimpey's Obituary
Perry Ayden Wimpey, a cherished resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, peacefully departed this world on August 22, 2023, at the age of 91. He was surrounded by the warmth and love of his family as he embarked on his final journey from the comfort of his home.
Born on November 28, 1931, in the heart of Okemah, Oklahoma, Perry was the beloved son of the late R.E. Wimpey and Hazel Lester Wimpey. From the moment he came into this world, it was clear that Perry possessed a spirit that would touch the lives of countless individuals over the years.
Throughout his long and fulfilling life, Perry embraced each day with unwavering determination, kindness, and a zest for living. He was a beacon of light in the lives of his family and friends, a source of wisdom, and a constant reminder of the beauty of compassion and understanding. Perry's presence radiated love, and his memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Perry's legacy lives on through the indelible mark he left on his community and his loved ones. He is survived by his adoring family, whose lives were enriched by his guidance, laughter, and boundless love.

Perry was preceded in passing by his parents and his beloved wife, Bernice Wimpey. He is survived by his son, Rick Wimpey, and wife, Rhonda; he is also survived by his daughter, Rhonda Rausch, and husband Pete; his grandson, Ryan Wimpey, and wife, Rachel Marie; granddaughter, Rachel Wimpey; granddaughter, Renee Koehn, and husband, Garrett; grandson, Brandon Rausch and wife, Mekayla; his great-grandchildren, Richard and Reagan Wimpey, and Magnolia Koehn; he is also survived by his sister, Shirley Ward; his nieces, Bekki Harjo and her husband, Quanah, Rumanda Young, and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 am, Friday, August 25, 2023, at Floral Haven Rose Chapel
