Uncle Bud was such a kind hearted and generous man, and SO much fun. We always looked forward to our time with him and of course LaReta, Reece and LaRhea. I am sure he is entertaining/aggravating his family in heaven. We will love and miss you always .
I will always remember Reece Morrel Sr. as, “Uncle Bud.” That’s who he was to us nieces and nephews, Uncle Bud. Every family has that Uncle, that’s smart, funny, encouraging, and always willing to push his nieces and nephews into just a little trouble…hehe. The thing is you never really got into trouble with mom, cause Uncle Bud was there to get you out of it. I remember one family reunion at Fin ‘n Feather, when I was probably only 5 or 6 years old, Uncle Bud taught me about streaking, salting and short sheeting beds, and all around orneriness. I am so blessed, I have so many amazing Aunts and Uncles. I will miss my Uncle Bud, but I will see him again, and I’m sure he’s up there in heaven making all the Angels laugh.
