Got to meet Rex years ago through my brother Jimbo,at rex's brothers franks house in WhiteEagle. Tht night was Spade night with the brother's Jesse n moose " aka Arlington" Frank n brother Jimbo n brother Jr. Was just learning the game n the older ones gave me the title. The Rook, 😂 needless to say no one wanted to be stuck with me when we drew for pard ers. N I was partnard with Jess. Who was less than thrilled 😄. He was teased relentless by everyone. But all in all is one of my fondess memories. Sharing a night with rex's n his brothers n nephews, after that when I would see him n vera at dances n Ponca powwow was good talking n visiting. He was in my opinion A Good Man, May wahkonda comfort and strengthn you in the days to come 😎☕
