Richard “Rick” Albert Disney, a resident of Tulsa, passed away March 8, 2017 at the age of 69. He was born September 16, 1947 to Richard Earnest Disney and Ruby May (Freeze) Disney in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army. Rick loved music and has served as a Music Director in several Churches in Oklahoma.He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Earnest and Ruby May Disney.Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of Tulsa; five children, April Archuleta and husband, Robert, Brent Disney, all of Owasso, Olan Lunn and wife, Lillian, Laura Smith and husband, Rick, all of West Plains, Missouri and Lynne Ruffin and husband, Robin of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Grant Archuleta and wife, Allison, Jared and Derek Archuleta, Raena and Emily Disney, Ricky Smith and wife, Jeani, Samantha Brotherton and husband, Mike, Liz Kuk and husband, Kenny, Misti Suggs and husband, Daniel, Robyn Manuel and husband, Landon and Dylan Ruffin; several great grandchildren; three brothers, Michael Disney, Gary Disney and wife, Marsha and Bryan Disney, all of Wagoner; sister, Renee’ Cather of Pawnee.Viewing will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow.Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Southeast Baptist Church in Tulsa with Pastor Bill Bender and Pastor Ival Robinson officiating. Burial will be held following the service at 1:00 p.m. at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Landon Manuel, Daniel Suggs, Dylan Ruffin, Grant Archuleta, Mike Brotherton and Ricky Smith.Honorary Pallbearers will be Jared and Derek Archuleta.Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army and the Patriot Guard Riders.
