I had the honor of working with Top at Hale high school for seven years. Top has a tremendous impact on our students; and I am not being hyperbolic when I say he saved quite a few of them. Top saw potential in kids who had terrible home lives and he gave them respect and responsibility and let them see their full potential. He was an amazing man. My sincere condolences to his family and friend.
Richard (Frosty) was one of the best soldiers I ever served with in the military. He was one of the most caring and professional individuals I have known. He will now rest in peace in heaven.

Always wore a smile as he walked halls of Hale. He listened to all both students and his fellow teachers. Prayers for his family. RIP Top!
Top Frost was one of those teachers that you could count on to tell you when you were doing something wrong, but never made you feel bad about it. He would encourage you to be your best, and just caring all around. He was also the one to joke around and have a ton of fun with you. Him and Major were the most influential teachers that I ever had, and helped me gain confidence in myself through JROTC. I was upset when he retired before my Junior year, because I didn't want another Top to come in and try to take his place. No one ever could take his place, and I am forever grateful to have known and learned from this amazing man.
