Sorry to hear the news. I only knew Rick briefly in college, but always remembered him as a fun and friendly guy who could hit a baseball farther than any of us.
Just now discovered the sad news that Rick “Myron Noodleman” Hader has passed away. I got to know Rick/Myron when he would make his frequent guest appearances here in Louisville Kentucky for The Louisville Bats baseball team. I was also an entertainer of sorts for the Bats known as “Dancin’ Carl” Rick and I would chat in the locker room before, during and after the games where he would tell me how the Myron Noodleman character came to be, plus all the places and personalities he has met during the course of his travels around the country. He was such a likeable and lovable guy who made you feel really comfortable and at ease with him. His antics on the field and in the stands put laughter and smiles on the faces and joy in the hearts of all those who saw him perform. He will be missed by all of his fans and friends around the country. I know I will.
Im so sorry for the loss…this family is very sweet and kind…I am praying for everyone
Rick is someone that blessed me with his friendship . The world has lost a good man . My daily and evening prayers have been with the entire Hader family , especially Billy , Missy and Matt God Bless Rick Hader and his life well lived ! Love Bill Stubblefield
Peace out, my brother from a different Mother ??????
You were my best teacher, and my good friend! RIP Rick Hader
I had an opportunity to meet Rick in Ft Wayne, Indiana following a baseball game there. He was in regular clothes, no makeup etc but I spotted who I knew had to be Myron Noodleman downtown at a local festival. So I said Hello, aren’t you Myron? He shook his head and laughed, and said, aw man, you recognized me! We had a good laugh and he talked to me about his career and baseball for a good 20 minutes. Very nice person who I am sure will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family from someone many miles away who will never forget meeting him and enjoying his antics at the games. Take Care.
Rest In Peace Ricky. The world will miss you.
