Richard Gene Lynch, 91, of Broken Arrow Oklahoma, passed away July 19 2022 at the Village Health Center. He was born October 5, 1930 to Leatha and Percy Lynch. He attended and graduated from Sperry High School in 1950. He attende Read Obituary
Gene, we all miss you so very much. It is hard to find a gentleman quite like you and I wish we had shared more stories. To Gene's wife, I am so very sorry. I know how much you mean to him and he always said how beautiful and loving you are. I asked him one time if you were the prettiest woman he ever saw, and he said "Still is". To the rest of Gene's family and friends, I am sorry to you as well. Gene made friends with everyone and we're all mourning with you. I myself am having a hard time believing he isn't going to be building models or reading airplane novels or asking about his striped blanket. I knew Gene for almost a year but that's not long enough. My last interaction with him, I made him laugh so hard that his face turned red. I am thankful for that. I wish every one of you peace, love, and support now and in the future. Gene will always be remembered.
I just want to say how nice a person Mr. Gene Lynch was to know, however briefly, here at The Village Health Care Center of Broken Arrow, Ok where I have lived for the past five years. He was a very quiet man, but when he smiled his eyes just twinkled with happiness and friendliness. I got to speak to his beautiful wife several times when she was here visitiing. It was an honor and privilege to have known him. Everyone just seemed to love him. Sending condolences from those here at The Village in their stead today.
