Richard J. Muschinske's Obituary
Richard J. “Dick” Muschinske, age 90, of Tulsa, died November 7, 2018. He was born August 20, 1928 in Oshkosh WI, the son of Paul and Lydia (Wendt) Muschinske. On February 14, 1953 he married Rosemary (Connie) Drakos in Milwaukee WI. Dick was a quiet man who liked to travel and dance the ballroom dances with his wife. While he was growing up, he played the violin with an orchestra in and near Oshkosh. After serving for four years in the US Army/Air Force, he worked with Badger Meter Inc. as a design draftsman for 28 years, six years in Milwaukee and the remainder in Tulsa, retiring in 1993. Then he worked part-time as a driver for Avis-Budget Group from 1999 till 2011. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Connie; children: Debra (Doug Richardson) and Kevin (Janet Gray); grandchildren: Nathan and William (Billy) Muschinske, and Delaney Richardson. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-brother, Melvin, and a sister, Ruth. Funeral services for Dick will be held at 2pm on November 9, 2018 at Floral Haven “Rose Chapel” 6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, OK. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visiting and sharing of memories at the Rose Chapel on November 9, 2018 from 1PM until the time of service. Interment will be in Floral Haven Veterans’ Field of Honor Phase II Area.
