Richard was one of the kindest, most selfless people I’ve ever known. Daniel and I will miss him as long as we live.
The things I will miss most: his laugh of delight when he told a joke, the bright light in his eyes when he knew you got his joke, watching him grin while he put lotion on his head, his pure and unreserved love for his family--especially those grandchildren, and most of all, I will miss that I never saw him without Phyllis. We will always love "Phyllis and Richard," and we send all of our love and prayers for comfort to Phyllis and the rest of the truly wonderful Summers Family.
Richard was a wonderful guy. Very humble. He was fantastic with his grandkids, took great care of them and his wife Philis. He is greatly missed.
