Dear Wood family, I wanted you to know that I am so very sorry to hear that Dale passed away. I saw his obit in the paper and wanted to extend my condolences to all of you. As you may or may not know, Jerry died on April 29 of this year also. He had many health problems and ultimately died of pneumonia. I also grew up in Whiting. My brother, Willard was the same age as Richard. Willard died in 1967 in a farming related accident. I remember when Richard and his Dad caught a large cat fish at the Whiting lake, I think over 50 pounds. My wife and I live in Jenks. I have lived in Tulsa area since 1960 and also worked in transportation. I wish I had known Richard worked for Chief. I knew several people who worked there. I am very sorry for your loss.
