Rick Langston was born on October 28, 1956, in Levelland Texas. He was adopted and raised by Gene and Joyce Langston in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. He departed this life on March 30th, 2021 at his home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the Read Obituary
I also worked for almost 20 years with Rick at Goodwill. Our friendship grew through the years and I knew I could depend on him as needed. This led to sharing more about ourselves and I truly looked forward to seeing him. God Bless him and his loved ones.
I worked with Rick at Goodwill for many years. He was a great person & will be missed. My prayers are with his family at this time.
I had the privilege of working with Rick for nearly twenty years. As others have stated, he was one of the hardest working, most dedicated people I’ve ever known. He set high standards for himself and he expected no less from others. Rick had a quick smile for everyone and dry sense of humor, but no one was exempt from his good-natured teasing. He was committed to his job, but most of all he was committed to his children. Rick’s passing is a great loss to all of us and will be missed, but he will be remembered for the good man that he was and all of the lives that he touched.
I met Rick in high school. He was a constant in my life at that time. I was ill my senior year & raising a steer for FFA. Without hesitancy, he stepped & took over caring for it, feeding & daily walks/runs-lol! He showed the steer in the stock show & won us first place. He was a caring person & very compassionate always giving of himself. Sadly we reconnected too late but I still got to visit with him and see what an amazing man he became in life. His love for his children was never ending & they were his reason for living. He will be missed by all who knew him.
