Robert H. Adams, known affectionately as Bob, entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, May 2, 2025 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 85. He was born on January 11, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William "Bill" Harold Adams and Ali Read Obituary
I loved spending time him and just seeing how much he cared for others. I got to spend about 9 months with him at Baptist Village and seeing him everyday always try to help those around him and how thoughtful he was always encouraged me. We liked to watch all kinds of games on television (usually sports) and hangout with each other. While I was working he always offered to help me and to check on others he thought might need help. He is truly a wonderful man and I cherish the time I got to spend with him.
I graduated with Bob in 1958, and knew his sweet wife, Kay Protzman. Kay's older brother, Gerald, was a friend of my brothers, and all of us were in the youth group at Immanuel Baptist Church. Just found out about Bob's passing, and would have attended services if I had known. I'm so sorry, Kay, for your loss. We all have assurance we will meet up in heaven. What a reunion that will be! He sure was a good man.
Bob was one of my husband’s dearest friends and was in our wedding. I loved his sense of humor and listening to all the “boy’s” stories through the years. Maybe he and Gary can play a game of catch. And, oh yes, Bob and Kay fixed Gary and me up on a blind date in February of 1960 and the rest is history. Many years of memories. Praying for the family!
