Raymond Sturm
Robert was my best friend in elementary school in Broken Arrow at the old school on North Main Street that now serves as an administration building for the school district. We were inseparable for several years and enjoyed hanging out with each other being boys. When I think of my early years in school and the friends I had there, Robert is the first who comes to mind. He was a great buddy to pal around with. Loyal and always kind, but not afraid to rough house the way boys do, wrestling and what not. I lost track of him somehow along the way (perhaps when he moved to Bixby?) and it was comforting to read his obituary and realize what a great life and family he had. He was a gentle soul and deserved that.
