My fondest memory was when he took me and connie to Mohawk park to a Steppen Wolf concert wwe had a blast, and on the way home he thought he was Dale Earnhart driving .It was a great night.I love you Roger and will miss you. I think you was really great for my mom and I no she love you very much.And for that I thank you,and I will be there for her every day just like you was. So thanks again for being the best stepdad I could have ever had and I will miss you.

roger was the best stepdad anyone could have.Years back he took me and my sister to a Steppen Wolf concert out at Mohawk park we had the best time ever,and then on the way home he thought he was Dale Earnhart driving.I think we all had a great nite.Its one of the best memories i had with him.He was a blast and im really going to miss him.I guess i will have to have drink of scotch at christmas for him.I will never forget you.You was good for my mom,and i thank you for that.
Roger was one my very best friends, he's me known since before I was born. My dad bought my first dirt bike from Roger when I was about 4 years old and we have been friends ever since. Him and my father together taught me how to ride and race motocross. We have rode bikes together for my entire life. I could always talk to Roger about anything and could always count on his support. He was one of my biggest fans and always told me how much he enjoyed watching me ride. I owe a lot of what I have learned to Roger between him and my father I would have never became the rider and person I am now. Yesterday was the first time I have been riding in 28 years and he wasn't with me and I wasnt able to call him and tell him how the track was and how the bikes are running. Im going to miss Roger a lot he will always be part of my family.
I was Roger's 1st protege and he offered me so much as he coached and mentored me in my formative teenage years. He died doing what he loved. Overall he liked Kawasaki's the most, so I will leave this t-shirt that he once gave me, that said: "Yea though I ride through the valley of Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki, I fear no one for my Kawasaki is the meanest son of a bitch in the whole damn valley" Godspeed Roger!
Knew Roger in Jr High at Bell he was always smiling I am so sorry to hear he has passed away he always had a smile

I went to school with Roger from Bell Jr High School until we graduated from Nathan Hale in 1961 he was a wonderful freind. I know his family will miss him I am so sorry to hear of his passing some of us have always wondered where he was and what he was doing what ever it was we knew he would have a motorcycle close by. I am very much at a loss for words. The fondest memory I have was when you took me to Hallett race track. I really didn't think it would be fun. I was sitting down with a group of your friends and the next thing I knew, you were flying down the track on a motorcycle. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. To this day I watch supercross races and I think of you. I love you and I know without a doubt you are on the biggest race track in heaven smiling down at us.
