Roger B. Gladden's Obituary
Roger B. Gladden, 71, of Tulsa, died on Saturday, March 1, 2014, while attending the Motorcycle races in Ocala, Florida. He was born in Tulsa, OK on November 27, 1942, the son of Earl Burris and Christine Haymes Gladden. He grew up in the Tulsa area, graduating from Nathan Hale High School in 1961. He then attended Oklahoma State University, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree of Science in 1965. After completing his education, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 – 1967. On September 19, 1987, he married Margaret Waters in Sand Springs. Roger had worked as a mechanic for many years, and loved motorcycle riding and racing. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Gladden, children, Scott Gladden, Debra, Connie, David, Cathy, and Tonya, 12 grandchildren, Crystal, Branden, Cassey, David, Whitney, Zachery, Kayla, Shelby, Autumn, Mariah, Sophia, and Jimmie, 9 great-grandchildren, Ethen, Randall, Rozlyn, Joelyn, Isabella, Braden, Adeline, Graceland, and Hunter, and numerous other family members and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, and two grandchildren, Codi and Jade Rector.
