Roy and Martha were such an influence in my family’s life. Man, could they both sing the word of God so beautifully. My family attended East Tulsa for many years and enjoyed Roy’s sermons and his faithfulness to the Lord. My parents, Irvin and Helen Scott, loved spending time with them. After Roy retired, they still maintained their friendship throughout the years. Roy was such a influential man to so many people.
Bro. Roy was our interim minister about 10 years ago at Towne & Country Chritian Church in Coweta, OK. Roy & Martha were such a huge blessing to get to know. Such a Godly example for anyone who met them, and heard him bring the Word of God into a sermon, or just a casual conversation. Prayers for the family & friends who will miss him greatly.
Roy was one of my mentors and and a friend who would write letters to me. Heaven is made richer by his presence. Both he and son Mark played a part in my family’s life. God Bless the Blackmore family. Roger, Louise, Vince, and Rhonda.
