Lit a candle in memory of Roy G. Cartwright
Though I did not know Mr. Cartwright but a few years, he made me feel like we had known each other for a long time. I moved to Owasso in 2014 and it wasn't long after that Mr. Cartwright introduced himself to me. I enjoyed our visits and his insight. I will miss him and his bride; both wonderful people. I just heard about Roy's passing. Loved him and my prayers are with the family!
I remember my Dad telling me about they had us setting side by side and I reached over and bit him, he always would tell that every time we got together.REMENBERING YOU cousin Roy.
Both Roy and Mary were very dear friends of ours and we shared many happy times together. We shared a love for OU sporting events and watched many football games together. It was very common to have phone conversation both before and during the games if we were not together. Roy and Mary were dedicated members of South Grand Lake Christian Church and we shared times of worship and fellowship with them there. Roy was a very successful businessman and his expertise will be greatly missed. Our hearts are sad that we will no longer have a physical presence with Roy but look forward to seeing both he and Mary in heaven some day. Enjoy the blessings of heaven dear friend. We are keeping the family in our prayers, praying that God will be near and comfort you during this difficult time. Jean and Harold Treat.
