Rudolph Ralph Szewczak Jr's Obituary
Rudolph Ralph Szewczak was born in Philadelphia, PA, on October 30, 1944. He was the son of the late Rudolph Ralph Szewczak, Sr., and Rosemary Theresa Baird.
He graduated from Northeast Catholic High School in 1963. From 1965 to 1969, he served in the United States Army Security Service, where he was stationed in Germany.
He married Louann Jane Shuey on June 25, 1977, in Lebanon, PA. He was a member of the Lebanon Jaycees.
In February 1979, he went to work for the US Jaycees in Tulsa, OK. Rudy has held Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development positions in Oklahoma, Arizona, and Nebraska. He ran Resumes and More in Dallas, TX, from 2004 - 2011, retired, and moved back to Oklahoma.
Rudy was a 4th-degree member of the Knights of Columbus for various parishes. He was civic-minded and involved in many community service organizations throughout his life.
He passed away on March 14, 2025, after living with Alzhiemer's-dementia for several years.
He is survived by his daughters, Janice McGhee and Julie Stephens, and their spouses, Bill McGhee and Michael Stephens, and grandchildren Brittney McGhee-Gillman, Brianna McGhee, and Benjamin Stephens. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Joseph, his sister Angie, and his wife Louann.
The graveside service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Garden of Last Supper.
