My condolences to the Goodsell family. I first met Rusty when he was wrestling coach at Skiatook High School and I was a referee. I later had the privilege of refereeing many times with him as well as with his brother Rod.His sense of humor and good nature no matter the circumstances will be missed.David Bartee
One of my fondest memories of Rusty was in his young coaching career as a wrestling coach in Skiatook. The wrestling program was new but with Rusty's ability to inspire and coach, the mighty Bulldogs soon proved to be a team to reckon with! He was a great person and the Skiatook High School Class of '73 will miss him! Later, I had the joy of Rusty coaching my own son while at Inola High School. He was a great counselor, coach, and friend. May the love that others had for Rusty give his family peace and comfort at this time of great sorrow. Deb "Short" Paslay
I am so saddened to hear of Rusty's passing. He was a great guidance counselor and friend to me during my high school years at Sand Springs. He could always make me laugh. He will be missed. I pray that God will comfort your family during this time. Connie Burton-Perteet
Rusty had a big heart and was a giant of a man. He would do anything for anyone. We loved him and will always remember his kindness. Once Rusty just came over to our house in Miami with his riding lawn mower and mowed our grass. He also loaned us his trailer to take to Enid and helped to load a refrigerater. He was a great guy and we will always remember him. We wish you comfort and sympathy for your great loss. Vickie and Wayne Foster
