I met Ruth in 1983, the first year she prepared my taxes. I looked forward to tax time every year because I got to spend an hour with Ruth. She became a confidant and special friend. It takes someone special to make one look forward to tax time. She gave me valuable advice many times that had nothing to do with taxes. I cherished the time spent with Ruth and will miss her greatly. She was truly a wonderful lady who endured much with grace and fortitude. Her example encourages me still. I will miss her so but am happy that her suffering has ended and she is residing with the Lord.
Remembering my sweet, sweet Aunt Ruth and her vibrant spirit. I'm so thankful for all of the memories I have from family gatherings to working in the office with Ruth during breaks from school before I had Jana. Ruth was always one of the most "put together" women you've ever seen whether it was in the office or camping in the woods. Our family will miss her tremendously, and I continue in prayer for my Uncle Roy, cousins, Mom, Uncle Leroy, and Granny.
