Sandy and I were close friends in Fredericktown High School in Missouri. We were chosen by a business organization to represent our class at Girls State at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. We were reconnected on Facebook in 2009 and have enjoyed many messages and phone calls over these past years. I’ll miss you, dear friend! Like we often said, “Someday we’ll spend time together in Heaven and that will be glorious!” 🙏❤️🙏
I always think of teddy bears and pomeranians when I think of Mrs. Hanna. I cannot fully explain how much Mrs. Hanna means to me. I was lucky enough to be one of her first graders in the early 2000's and kept up with her throughout my highschool and college career.
She was always a light and so supportive throughout all of my endeavors. She always wanted to know what crazy adventures I was up to next, and would always ask how my studies were going.
Mrs. Hanna, I am so glad I had the pleasure of knowing you.
Sending all my love,
Robin Pander

The world has lost another great teacher & friend. I met Sandy at Arrow Springs & worked with her for 4 years. I loved watching walking her class all in a row to the Media Center. It takes something special to be a 1st grade teacher & she definitely had that something special. Rest in Peace Sandy.
