Even after her and Ned went their separate ways, she always treated me like one of her own grandchildren. She sent me cards for my birthdays and Christmas, well into my 20’s. Our last conversation, she called to wish me a happy birthday and ask about my daughter. I’ll miss her kindness.
I was visiting Oklahoma to spend time with my brother and family. We all went for pizza and Cher was invited. We instantly became friends. She had a wonderful personality! She had us all laughing. She was God's girl for sure.
She will be missed.....
Shar has been a long-time friend and has helped me with many different struggles in my life as well as sharing my joys that happened along our paths. She was a great listener and a very strong prayer warrior.
We did share the fourth row for a long time at Ridge Christian Church that Michelle mentioned. We had a standing joke (as I am not a tall person) that very often when others took a seat ahead of us the tallest person would somehow be in front of me. Shar and I would look at each other and start laughing.

Shar was a true friend and sister in Christ. We were known as the four musketeers that sat in the fourth row on the east side of the sanctuary at Church. Shar, Steve, Michele and Barb…our row was always full of laughter, tears, praise and worship. I’m sure we could be quite disruptive at times. We frequented Shilohs for some fine dining almost every Friday night… until we couldn’t. So for the past couple of years we just took the party to her. Shar was a passionate person when it came to sharing her Savior with anyone that would listen. She fought the good fight and she will be greatly missed. ~Michele
