Hey Shelly. I thought of you today. I shared your photograph and Marine Corps service on a work page today. They are honoring everyone in the service by printing every picture and story shared and they are placing it in a time capsule. It will be opened in 25 years. I shared your picture as well the pictures and stories of others we lost. I work for homeless vets now. I get to find them, help them, and bring them home. I miss you and I will always love you and forever be grateful to you. Hugs girly. Live forever. Semper Fidelis.

I'm the girlfriend Bill Sanches speaks of above. I just feel the need to connect as well and give you my deepest condolences … We find ourselves thinking of Shelly a lot, and praying she's found the peace she was looking for. A fb friend of mine is Sharing Shelly's story in the "22 day challenge" where people are challening other people to do 22 push ups for 22 days to bring awareness to Veteran Suicide. Hopefully by sharing, her death will help other Vets in their quest for help. …heartfelt love and hugs to all of you.

Shelly was my special granddaughter. She knew I was tough on her, but she always smiled and said yes grandma with a twinkle in her eye. I love you Shelly forever….the boss (grandma Boston)
