I have most fond memories of this dear woman, the mother of my sweet friend Wanda. Shirley had a true gift from the Lord which she always used to glorify Him. Her ministry through her music blessed me greatlyÃ?â??Ã? and I know there are untold numbers of others who were also blessed. I know that she is in the presence of our Lord now and that our Father welcomed His daughter with open arms.Ã?â??Ã?
Elijah, Wanda,Sharon and the rest of the family: We want to let you know what a priviledge it was to know Shirley. We loved her and your family very much. Dear family, I pray that God will comfort you during this difficult time. I remember Shirley from way back in the '50's when I was just learning music and going to the Gospel Singings where her Dad, Lee, sang bass with the Gospel Tone Quartet. She played so well and I was dreaming of learning the piano. Many memories come back to me when I remember those days.
