I knew Sophie through AHBC we went to same church for years and loved both Don and Sophie. One of the first times I really got to know her was at a cooking class we attended at AHBC she helped us learn to make some wonderful Italian dishes, and we also learned other dishes with our instructor Barbara Crockett. However later years we became better acquainted because three days a week I was taking my dad to dialysis and Don was bringing Sophie 5:30am.my dad and myself became great friends and prayer partners with Don and Sophie. She went through a lot but she was a fighter and came through many a health crisis
Always had a positive attitude. After my dad passed away in 2015 I got to see the Benwares at Wed. Night meals at church always a blessing
So thankful for their love and prayers and their testimony to my family, I can affirm those grandkids were loved beyond measure too along with their family.
