Sophia Jean Benware's Obituary
Sophia Jean Benware ,79, of Broken Arrow, passed away early July 2, 2021. She was born January 25, 1942 in Hilliards, PA to Angelo and Diana Marcucci. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and is survived by her sons Jeremy and Jordan, Daughter in Laws Laura and Houng Luu, grandsons Dominic and Donovan and sister Cora Thomas and brothers Joe and Ray Marcucci. Sophia loved her family and friends very much. When her boys were young, she stayed at home to raise them but when they were in elementary school she started working at Broken Arrow Public Schools in various support positions. She made life long friends throughout her years working and loved her co-workers and children that she worked with. In her later years, she dedicated herself to help raise her two grandchildren. Dominic and Donovan became the center of her world for the rest of her life. A funeral will be held at Arrow Heights Baptist Church in Broken Arrow on July 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Per her wishes, she was cremated and her ashes will be scattered by the family.
