I was saddened to hear of Starr's untimely death. My thoughts of Starr bring to mind how much she loved her family. She looked forward to being with each one to celebrate an occasion, Starr was available to comfort those in need and to serve when a situation required her help. Starr always arrived with her lovely smile and willing heart. She will be missed by so many that loved and enjoyed her presence.Charlotte

My memories of Starr was when we were at Mama Starr's house. A very nice person. Please accept my condolences.
My heart goes out to Angela and Jeff in the loss of their Mother. Starr was such a wonderful and loving Mom and always loved her children so very much. She was a wonderful daughter who was loved unconditionally by her family. It is sad to lose your sister, especially your only sister but I am so proud of the life Starr lived and the contributions she made to her family, friends and any community she involved herself in. She will truly be missed by her family and we will only rest in the thought that she has now joined her family and is celebrating her homecoming with them. She was always such a beautiful lady.
Sending thoughts and love to Starr's family. She and Walt were members of our Happy OK Wanderers motorhome club. We have many happy memories of them at our rallies. May God bless you. Lois Austin and Betty Shedrick
I will always remember Starr, my beautiful cousin. As a little girl she was gentleness and kindness itself. As a teen her gentleness and kindness grew and the always present smile became even more delightful—always gracing her sweet face. As an adult her kind, gentle self and the ever present smile simply multiplied into a most elegant and gracious, caring lady.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Starr was so sweet and good. Her inner & outward spirit always reflected the fruit of the Spirit(Gal. 5:22)—gentleness, kindness, love, joy, peace, & faith. We treasure our memories of her and the life example she set for us and our family.Love, Frank & Peggy
Dear Cousins Angela and Jeff, I am sorry for the loss of your Mom. My earliest memory is being the flower girl in your parents wedding. Starr was such a gracious and loving individual. I always enjoyed her many visits to Baird and I am thankful that she blessed my life. I treasure those memories and I hope that wonderful memories remain in your hearts.
I graduated High School with Starr. I always thought she was the most beautiful "girl" I had ever seen. She was just as sweet & kind, also. I would have enjoyed seeing her as an adult, but our paths never crossed again.I'm sorry for her family's loss. May God comfort them in their grief.Jayne Martin Boyce Rockport/Fulton, TX
