Stephanie and I had a bond because we were the "outsiders". She grew up in California (far far away from Nowata) and I was the baby. We were the blondes amongst the Indians. I talked her into going to Cherokee language classes and we laughed because we stood out like sore thumbs. She was so sweet and wonderful. I love her and will miss her. Love, Lois Ann
