Stephanie Rae Givens' Obituary
Stephanie Rae Givens, a long-time resident of the Tulsa area, passed away Tuesday the 11th of July at Clarehouse on south Mingo Road. Born on June 13, 1947 in Los Angeles, California, Stephanie worked in secretarial positions after graduation including at General Valve Company where she met her future husband Cliff. Stephanie was kind and humble and had a unique ability to make you feel like you were a most important and special person. She loved being with her family and friends and traveled both domestically and abroad. Stephanie was a Cub Scout leader and enjoyed little league baseball with Brian and his friends. Later in life, she enjoyed quilting and embroidering. Her mother and father, Ruth Ellen (Harrison) Critchlow and Wilbur Francis “Webb” Critchlow both preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Clifton Dale Givens, son Brian Kelly Givens, his wife, Catherine (Cat) Givens and her beautiful brand new granddaughter Amelia RaeAnn Givens of Tulsa. In addition, she leaves behind many loved family members, friends and acquaintances. It was once said of her, “Stephanie is one of the most kind and gentle spirits I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.”Visitation will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m at Floral Haven Funeral Home Funeral will be 2:00 p.m., Friday July 14, 2017 at Floral Haven Rose Chapel
