Remember that huge smile well. I went to high school with Steve. He was a class act. Always friendly. Never put on airs to anyone. Prayers for your family going up.

What wonderful memories I have of Steve! Many great times spent at Tech, then at the reunions and get-togethers. I can still see the "Four Cases" dancing to the songs of the Temptations at the Herring's farm. And a good friend – who else would help put roof rafters on a two story log house in the middle of nowhere? All that knew Steve will miss him. Karen Cota Shaw
I met Steve at the gym. He always had a toothpick in his mouth while working out. Shocked to read this in the paper this morning. Steve always had a smile and took the time to greet you at the gym. Since he moved to Texas we've been out of touch since the gym was the only time I ever talked to him. My sincerest sorrow goes out to his family and friends. God bless you all. Steve Williams
No matter how long it had been since we thought of Steve, just remembering him always brought a smile. Reading this brief reflection of his life, it is evident that the same Spirit that drew all to him during his early school years is the same Spirit with which he lived his entire life. The Love of God and the fellowship of Christ Jesus now encompasses you — until we meet again, brother. In loving remembrance, Donna & David Loyd
