Steven Griffiths' Obituary
Steven Howard Griffiths, 67 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in Tulsa. He was born August 27, 1952 in Dover, New Jersey to his parents, Anne Brubaker Griffiths and Howard Judson Griffiths, Jr. He married the love of his life, Jan McCartney on June 11, 1977 in Tulsa and they have shared in over 42 years together.
Steven worked as a computer programmer for American Airlines and other aeronautical companies. He was a member of University United Methodist Church and was a Lambda Chi.
Steven is survived by his loving wife, Jan Griffiths of the home; two daughters, Courtney Deming and husband James of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Megan Griffiths and husband Benedict Varnum of Omaha, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Griffin Deming and Piper Deming of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ruth Griffiths-Varnum of Omaha, Nebraska; three siblings, Amy Griffiths of Carthage, Missouri, Bill Griffiths and wife Lana of Carthage, Missouri and Mike Griffiths of New York, New York; and many friends and extended family members.
A memorial celebration will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at University Methodist Church, 500 S. College, Tulsa, OK 74104. ***Limited seating and masks are required.
