Steven H Sobelman's Obituary
Sobelman, Steven H., 56, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on November 16, 2009 in Tulsa from complications of his Multiple Sclerosis medication associated with PML (a serious viral infection of the Brain). He was the 13th in the WORLD to acquire this rare virus associated with his MS medication. He was born on December 23, 1952 in Los Angeles, California. Steve married Diane (Clark) Sobelman on January 24, 1988 in North Hollywood, California. He worked at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA for 20 years in the Special Procedures and Cardiac Catheterization Lab. He currently was employed at Saint Francis Hospital in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Steve was an avid motorcyclist and known as a “Guru” to the triumph motorcyclists around the world. He will be remembered for his willingness to help others with no expectation in return. Steve was very humble and directed the “Spot Light” to others. Steve was a devoted and loving husband. The family wishes to thank Dr. Randall M. Webb of Neurological Associates of Tulsa, Inc., Dr. Robert Hauger of Warren Clinic and the staff at SFH on 6 West for their care and dedication provided to Steve throughout his illness. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Diane Sobelman, who cared for him during his illness: Mother: Dorothy Sobelman of Los Angeles California; Sister: Elisa Robyn, and husband Rick Murray of Colorado and his – sister – law Sharon Hillard of Grove Oklahoma.
