I have fond memories of going to their house when Carlene and I were best friends in Junior High school and trying out different types of wild game that Mr. Hagood and Baaron had shot on one of their hunting trips. That was quite an experience for a young teenager that was a picky eater at the time, lol! He worked at Sears at the same time my grandmother did and can remember my family stopping by to visit with him on the way to see my granny Hales. The carpet department where he worked was right at the top of the escalator and he was always standing there cheerfully greeting you when you when you stepped off the escalator. He always made you feel welcomed no matter where you were and took very caring interest in each person he met. I know his family will miss him deeply. So good to know where he is at and that he is probably having the best time with Jesus right now. God bless his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Kathy Hales Wright
