T. Carson Hagood's Obituary
T. Carson Hagood, 86, passed from this life to be with the Lord on January 21, 2012 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Carson was born on January 4, 1926 in Hannibal, Missouri to Henry and Ethel Hagood. He was a retired Sears Roebuck salesman and a member of the Eastland Assembly of God Church. He was very active in the church. After retirement, he became an avid gardener. He was the owner of Park Hills Motel in Vinita, OK. He enjoyed reading and studying nutrition as well as, taking senior classes at TCC. Carson loved hunting and fishing all over the country, loved music and most of all his family. Carson met and married Velma Wescott on February 29, 1952 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. They shared 59, almost 60, memorable years together. He is survived by his loving wife, Velma Hagood; children, Carlene Gulizio and husband, Mike and Baaron Hagood and wife, Sherrie; grandchildren, Michelle Hackett and husband, Austin, Jennifer Hagood Rahimi and husband, Cris, Lesleigh Dexter and husband, Clark, and Matthew Hagood and wife, Callie; great grandchildren, Franklin Rahimi, Kaleb Dexter, Kaydee Dexter, and Carson Hackett; sisters, Doris Shipman and Mima Horton and husband, Glen; and sister-in-law, Betty Hagood. He is preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
