Sent a gift in memory of Ta-Kha'et M. Gibbs
Ta-Kha'et (TK to me.) met my daughter, Karen, when they were at Oklahoma State University together. TK visited our home many times and was a maid of honor at Karen's wedding. TK became like a daughter to my wife and I. She was such a caring person with a quick wit. She joked that we were her white family. I never met Ta-Kha'et's family but they must be wonderful people to have raised such a gracious child as TK. It is impossible to imagine a greater loss than loosing your child. My condolences go to the Gibbs family. We will all miss and never forget this wonderful lady. Sincerely, Keith Davis
Oh my TK. I have just found out. I was searching for you because you haven't been answering your phone in ages. I even called the number I had for your parents, but it was disconnected. I'm so sorry I missed you. I know you and Keith are glad to see each other and to be with Jesus. I love you sis. Karen Davis

I Lived next door to you on West M street in Jenks so many years ago. I practically lived at your house with Ta-kha'et. She was so special in my life when I was younger. I'm sad that I'll miss the chance to reconnect with Her again. Prayers for your family in this awful time.
TK was an extraordinary person. Her beautiful smile, cheerful demeanor, infectious laugh and warm hugs exuded sincerity and genuine love for everyone and everything around her.I am so fortunate to have been gifted with her friendship and to have been considered her friend; my heart will be forever imprinted with memories of times shared. Her boundless devotion to righting social injustices & supporting her family (those with whom she was biologically or legally related and those with whom she chose a familial bond) was truly inspiring!I know that she is home with God where everyday is paradise and am comforted by that fact. Yet I will miss hair ing her here on earth with us. I pray for: peace for her family and friends knowing that she is well and home in Heaven; joy when thinking of her and recalling time spent together; love shared among the many people TK loved and who loved her who are now connected by the gift of herself she bestowed each of us!
TK was such a sweet soul. She was loved by many. She always had a kind word of encouragement to share. Heaven gained another angel. Until we meet again
So sad to hear this news. You were such an awesome friend. Till we meet again, dear friend…
Even though we had only known each other a short time, I will always remember your sweet smile. My condolences to your family. Celia
Tk was always smiling, even when being critical was positive..she will be missed .
