Peace be with you, Terri. And comfort and healing for family and friends!
In 9th grade we were not fond of each other because of our current best friends. In 10th grade we were inseparable. I remember laughing at others down falls. We were kids but those were fun times. We were "partners in crime" from taunting mrs. brentlinger to candy raids from the PE teacher that appeared questionable. We were a good time together. I remembered how you made me love moms 'grocery getter" We shared times of being single to married with children to single with children. I wish I had told you how much you meant to me in my life. You kept me safe when we were looking for fun. You had the discernment to know when things looked bad for two young girls. Of course when you repeated whatever story you were telling you loved to make me the silly one. I would love to have another moment to share my heart with you. You are a classic beauty and you were a wonderful mom and my heart is so saddened for your babies and your mom and Robert and the rest of all the important people in your life. When I think that this earth lost you my breath is taken away. You my sweet friend are missed and I pray for the day I can see you again in Glory!!!
To Terri, when I met you the first time, was in the fall of 1973, you were just a little girl, same age as Rodney, we all became so close, pretty much daily visits, you just loved the congo squares as your mom pulled them out of the oven, just before you got home from school, with a glass of milk, we spent so much time together preparing meals, while you were all playing and laughing, sometimes maybe getting in a little mischieves lol,we were like a second family, even though we moved in different places , we always felt close, and when i think of you now, i still feel that closeness in my heart, and will always be remembered, keep on watching over us, until we all meet together again, with love Lucie

In the photo section, there is a picture of Barbara Meyer receiving her chemo. Terri Skelly our daughter loved the color Purple. While her Mother, Barbara was receiving her chemo today, people came around with a therapy dog. This organization, with out knowing, gave Barbara a stuffed dog with a purple bow and a quilt that was all purple. We explained what the color purple meant to us. The lady with the dog explained that she never puts purple on her dog, but today was different. Terri was to receive her chemo today also. Terri, we know you were behind this and we love you.
