Terri Ann Skelly's Obituary
In the early morning hours of March 29, 2016, Terri passed away at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Ok. As a result of complications from her courageous battle with Lung Cancer She was 47 years old. Terri was born on Jan. 12, 1969 in the town of Fontana, Ca. to Richard and Barbara (Radney) Van Kalsbeek. She grew up, attended schools and made countless friends in Broken Arrow, Ok. Shortly after high school, Terri met and married Paul Skelly of Tulsa, Ok. Their Union resulted in the births of her three beloved children: Amanda Mae Skelly, Aubrey Ann Skelly and Justin Paul Skelly. Terri was first and foremost a homemaker and Mother, who went on to become employed for Homeland Grocery Stores in Human Resources for Tulsa and Surrounding cities. She was an incredibly kind, loving and giving person who helped so many people in this life, in so many ways. Even after leaving this world, she was able to donate her corneas so that two women might have sight. Terri was preceded in death by her brother Richard C. Van Kalsbeek of Kellyville, Ok. Terri is survived and lovingly remembered by her partner in life, William Carroll of Manford, Ok, her children: Amanda Skelly and fiancé Steven Duckworth Weaver of Tulsa, Ok, Aubrey Skelly and fiancé Blake Braswell of Sand Springs, Ok, Justin Skelly of Stillwater, Ok. Her parents Dorrance and Barbara Meyer of Broken Arrow, Ok., Brother Robert Van Kalsbeek and wife Trina of Broken Arrow, Ok., Brother Jeremy Meyer and wife Michelle of Eddyville, Ne., Sister Paula Nuckolls and husband Jeff of Cartersville, Ga., Sister Pamela Pitman and husband Martin of Albertville, MN., Sister in law Patti Van Kalsbeek of Kellyville, Ok., Grandmother Lucile Meyer of Sutherland Ia., and numerous nieces and nephews that loved her very much, as well as two grand nieces, Kali Lou Van Kalsbeek and Paisley Ahearn who had become the apples of her eye. A family and friends celebration of Terri’s life will be held at her parent’s home at a later date. Located at: 8401 S.
