Thomas Wesley King's Obituary
Thomas Welsey King was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 13, 1936, to Robert Charles and Sylvia Maxine King. He lived in many places growing up but spent much of his time residing with his grandparents in McAlester, Oklahoma.
Tom graduated from Capitol High School in OK City, then joined the Air Force in 1953 where he served for 28 years. He earned over 8 awards and accommodations including the Certificate for Honorable Service from Congress, while also serving in the Vietnam War. He retired in 1989 at the high rank of Senior Master Sargent. After retirement, he was a Laboratory Manager in several different hospitals but ended his healthcare career in Gravette, Arkansas where he retired in 2008.
Tom is proceeded in death by his parents, sister Leanna, brother Danny and wife LaJuanna J. King. He is survived by two brothers Larry John of Shawnee, OK, James King of Shreveport, LA, three sons, 4 daughters, 5 step children, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
